Waterloo Study Gets Federal Money

The Federal Government is investing $1.9 million into a University of Waterloo project.

It will examine greenhouse gas emissions associated with agricultural activities and the potential benefits of alternative land use practices and beneficial management practices (BMPs).

This project with the University of Waterloo is one of 20 new research projects supported by the $27 million Agricultural Greenhouse Gases Program.

The program supports research into greenhouse gas mitigation practices and technologies that can be adopted on the farm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
