A Rural Romp In Wellington County

Visitors can experience local agriculture and taste local food during the 7th Annual Spring rural Romp in Northern Wellington County.

People will have the chance to visit thirteen locations including farms, markets, garden centres, and a bed and breakfast.

The Rural Romp takes place between 10am and 4pm in Mapleton, Minto and Wellington North Saturday.

Rompers will get a chance to visit with farm animals, go on wagon rides, join activities, and taste local food samples.

You can also buy seedlings, flowers, plants, spring produce and local food.

People can visit any or all of the participating locations during the free self-guided tour.

You can get the new 2017 2018 Guelph Wellington Local Food map which has information on farms, restaurants, retailers, breweries, food events and more.

There are also prizes for farm selfies, and best photos.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
