Health Unit Support From Perth County Dairy Producers

The Perth District Health Unit recently received a $1,000 donation from the Perth County Dairy Producers Committee, which represents the 360 dairy producers in Perth County.

The donation will help continue to provide nutrition support to local families and will be used to purchase milk coupons for pregnant women and young families.

It enables families to purchase bagged milk to support healthy nutrition.

Public Health Nurse Heather Kane says the continued funding from the Perth County Dairy Producers enables the Health Unit to maintain a vital program and ease the financial challenges for families.
