GFO: #TrainWithGrains

Grain Farmers of Ontario, #TrainWithGrains Campaign is now accepting video entries from University students across the province. The top videos will be eligible to win a $2500 cash prize!

#TrainWithGrains is a social campaign encouraging Ontario university students to fuel their bodies with healthy foods made with barley, corn, oats, soybeans, and wheat and perform an athletic ability. They will learn about healthy grain-based foods and athletics. The Campaign spans over eight weeks beginning January 8, 2018.

This campaign is an opportunity to engage youth with Ontario grains and agriculture. In partnership with the Ontario University Association (OUA), Grain Farmers of Ontario is proud to host this campaign.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
