Top Dairy Herds In Brussels Teeswater and Mitchell

Dariy farms in Brussels, Mitchell and Teeswater are being recognized as some of the top managed herds in Canada.

The Top 25 rankings come from CanWest DHI and Valacta and are based on a Herd Management Score, allocating points for performance in different areas, such as milk production, udder health, reproduction and heifer rearing.

A total of 7,500 heards were surveyed.

Haag Farms in Brussels was the topped ranked Ontario farm at number 11. And it was deemed the Top Robot Herd.

The Pfister Dairy Farm in Mitchell was number 14 and Albadon Farms in Teeswater was number 16 on the list.

And the second Mitchell farm in the Top 25 is JPC Farms Inc. at number 22.

All of the top 10 dariy farms on the list were out of Quebec.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
