IPM 2020 Planning

Municipalities across Ontario are being invited to two meetings this month that could decide where the International Plowing Match in 2020 is held.

The Municipality of Brockton discussed sending a member of council to one of the meetings, noting Walkerton has hosted successful IPM's in the past.

The two meetings are Friday, February 23rd at the Orangeville Fair Grounds, and the next day at the Gemini Sportsplex in Strathroy.

Walkerton has hosted the Plowing Match twice, the last time being on the Johnston Family Farm in 1993. Bruce County last hosted the Plowing Match in 2008 in Teeswater.
