Blyth Man Recognized With First Rural Ontario Leaders Awards

A Blyth native is one of the first recipients of the Rural Ontario Leaders Awards.

Grant Sparling is the General Manager and Vice-President of Cowbell Brewing.

The Rural Ontario Leaders Awards celebrate the achievements of those who are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life and economic development of rural Ontario.

The awards also raise awareness of rural Ontario's ability to foster a competitive and innovative business environment, and help recognize the contribution of rural Ontario to the provincial economy.

The Rural Ontario Leaders Awards will be offered every two years and will be presented at the Rural Ontario Summit.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
