Grow Ontario Together is currently focusing on phosphorus in Lake Erie. We know that phosphorous loads are higher than they should be and farmers want to be part of the solution.

The organizations involved have come together to take a leadership role in efforts to reduce the amount of phosphorus in the Great Lakes watershed. Grain Farmers of Ontario is working on education around cover crops, soil testing and other best management practises to ensure that farmers have as many tools as possible to help reduce phosphorus loads.
