This is the second time Grain Farmers of Ontario has run this conference. A recent initiative of Grain Farmers of Ontario is to get more women involved with our organization. In March 2016, a focus group was run to help identify what areas female farmer-members are looking for support. From this, a conference was developed to address these needs. The conference will run bi-yearly.

Topics this year will cover: networking, leadership, speaking with consumers, mental health and social media, and a panel from several women working in agriculture.

If you are interested in attending reach out to Steve McCabe, manager of member relations at 226-979-5581 or smccabe@gfo.ca.
