Final day of Grey-Bruce Farmers' Week

Today's Ecological Day at Grey-Bruce Farmers' Week will wrap up the 53rd event.

The day starts 9:30 a.m. with Keith Reid speaking, Project Co-ordinator with ALUS Grey Bruce.

Also speaking, at 10 a.m., is Greg Stewart, the Manager of Eat Local Grey Bruce and discuss marketing.

There will also be discussions about organics through the day with the final panel discussion starting at 3:15 p.m. today.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
