A total of 77 Soft Red Winter samples were collected from the southwest, northwest, and Niagara regions over the last week.

Quality continues to look very good with the majority of samples grading a #2 or better. Protein content is down roughly 0.5% across the collected regions from last year. Falling numbers are very sound across all reporting regions. Five samples of soft white winter (SWW) wheat were graded this week as well. Protein in the southwest is similar to last year, however, the northwest is down slightly from last year at this point with a small sample size.

Falling numbers look sound for both regions.
