Ontario Pork Board holding closed door meetings this week in Midwestern Ontario

The Ontario Pork Marketing Board is barring public and reporters from information meetings, some of which are taking place in Midwestern Ontario.

On it's website, Ontario Pork says the meetings are to discuss recommendations of the Political Strucuture Committee to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the political structure with respect to local pork producer associations, delegate allocation and the structure of its Board of Directors.

It's rare for the board to hold closed-door meetings. A meeting will be held on Wednesday at the Golf Club in Mitchell, while another will take place on Friday at the King Hotel in Palmerston.
