Statscan: 2021 could be challenging for canola growers

According to Stats Canada, a challenging year for canola could be on the horizon.

Dry conditions across the Prairies have posed a challenge to canola producers this year, despite StatsCan calling for 21.5 million acres of canola to be seeded this spring, which could lead to reduced yields if rain doesn't come in time.

The projections could lead to difficulty in determining prices over the coming weeks and months.
