GBFW goes virtual in 2022, again

Grey-Bruce Farmers' Week is going virtual in 2022.

The event runs January 4th to the 11th.

The Grey Bruce Farmers’ Week committee is supported by the event's Premier Sponsor, FCC.

It will be the 56th year for the event and and organizers are pivoting to a virtual showcase now to try to avoid any last minute issues.

Organizers say one of the benefits is that the conference can draw from a broader pool of presenters as Sheep Day will feature a veterinarian from the UK. There will still be industry updates, producer mingle periods, speaker Q&As, and producer panels.

The line up includes Check Your Tech Tuesday, an opportunity to allow participants to get comfortable with the technology and format.

That will be followed by the specific days with Beef Day, Dairy Day, Goat Day, Sheep Day, Ecological Day and wrapping up with Crops Day.
