More flocks under quarantine as avian influenza spreads

More poultry flocks have been added to the CFIA's list of avian influenza cases across Ontario.

Poultry flocks near the City of Markham and in eastern Ontario expanded the list to 14 confirmed cases in flocks.

And the case in West Grey was confirmed earlier this week after being reported on April 9th.

Each infected premise has been placed under quarantine.

CFIA has established movement control measures and is recommending enhanced biosecurity for other farms within that area.
