Pumpkin Shooting Leads To Charges

A 41-year-old man is charged with careless use of a firearm.

On Sunday at 12:26am, Chatham-Kent police responded to a call of several gunshots heard by a resident in the area of 19954 Hill Rd. in Howard Township.

Police report a man in the area was found shooting up a pumpkin patch.

The suspect has been released with a future court date.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
