Gray Tribute Set For Windsor

A tribute to the late Herb Gray will be held this week in Windsor.

President of the Windsor West Federal Liberal Association David Sundin says the event is being planned for this Thursday. Sundin says he recently got word that Gray's wife Sharon was going to be in town this week.

The association has been working to organize a tribute since the former MP and deputy Prime Minister died April 21. The 82-year-old's funeral was held in Ottawa with no formal ceremony held locally.

Sundin says the event will be open to the public while Gray's former office staff and campaign team will be formally invited. More details will be released later this week.
