Lakeshore Edges Blenheim

The Lakeshore Canadiens edged the Blenheim Blades 7-6 in Junior C hockey.

The Blades led 6-4 early in the third period, but Lakeshore closed out the game with three unanswered goals.

JJ Percy had two goals and two assists for the Canadiens, who extend their winning streak to five games. Tyler Boughner led Blenheim with two goals and two assists.

Lakeshore is back on the ice on Wednesday when they travel to Mooretown. Blenheim is off until Saturday when they take on the Wheatley Sharks.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
