Searching For Tool Thieves

The OPP is looking for suspects who they say stole $12,000 worth of power tools from a truck on the side of a road in Lakeshore.

The vehicle had run out of gas along North Rear Rd. around 2:30pm, Sunday. The owner had a friend pick him up to go get some gas, and when they returned to the vehicle about a half-hour later, all of the tools from the bed of the truck were gone.

Police say the tools, including a few chainsaws, were engraved with the words "Angry Beaver."

Anyone with any information about this theft is asked to call the OPP Lakeshore Detachment at 519-728-1810 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS.
