Looking To Defend Home Court

The Windsor Express are set to play their first game at the WFCU Centre since winning the NBL Canada championship back in April.

Forward Chris Commons is excited and explains that the mentality coming into this season has been a bit different than last, when they felt like an underdog. "Now, where we were hunting people, we're the hunted. Every team wants to smack us. So we're coming into practices a little more focused, trying to get more tough and just trying to get everyone rolling smoothly together."

The Express host the Brampton A's at 7pm tonight after opening the season with a two-point loss in London last weekend.

There will be a banner-raising ceremony before the game and championship rings will be handed out to the returning players.
