CKHA Christmas Wish Tree

Chatham-Kent residents can expect letters from the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation asking for donations for their annual Christmas campaign.

Participants can make donations to have a blue, silver or gold light placed on the tree in memory of a loved one. Proceeds from this year's campaign will go towards the CKHA's diagnostic imaging campaign.

"It has a lot of special meeting," says CKHA Foundation Executive Director Michelle Grzbien-Huckson. "When you light that tree and you know you've supported the hospital through a light in memory of someone that you've lost. It is a very emotional evening."

The lighting of the tree will take place Thursday, December 18 at 6:30pm, and will remain lit until after New Year's Day.
