Lost Load Causes Crashes

The Chatham-Kent OPP is asking for the public's help to identify a vehicle that caused seven other vehicles to crash on the Hwy. 401.

Police say the vehicles all crashed after a 4ft red steel ramp fell off a flatbed-type trailer and landed on the highway near Harwich Rd. at around 11pm Saturday night.

Investigators say while no injuries were reported, seven vehicles sustained significant damages.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
