UCC Saddened By Fallen Former Student

Jacob Suitor will be in the thoughts and prayers of his former teachers and classmates after being killed in a London area crash.

The 17-year-old graduated from Ursuline College Chatham in June, and was killed Monday when his SUV collided with a tractor-trailer and pick-up truck.

While no formal memorial is scheduled at UCC, Principal Ray Power says he will be in the thoughts and prayers of the school community, particularly Suitor's former teachers. "They knew Jacob as a hard working, kind and generous young man. He had a circle of friends that he connected at the school, but he was very soft-spoken and gentle."

Power adds Suitor still has a sibling at the school who will be provided with support resources should they choose to use them.
