Charges Laid After Ridgetown Parties

Five college students are facing mischief-related charges after police broke up a number of parties at the same house in Ridgetown.

Police say they have sent officers to the same residence on Head St. repeatedly since September and have issued several warnings to the students after receiving a number of noise complaints.

In one case, police say they found a large gathering of students inside the house, outside in the yard, and on the roadway next to the residence. Police say only one of the students was arrested at the that particular party, but since then officers have arrested and charged the other four residents.

Four 19-year-old men and a 20-year-old man are all set to appear in court later this month.
