Suspects Flee Scene On Foot

The Chatham-Kent OPP is looking for three men after a stolen vehicle failed to stop for police and ended up in the ditch near a Hwy. 401 off ramp.

Police say they found a red Pontiac Grand Am in the ditch at the Orford Rd. exit last night after attempting to pull it over. Officers then learned it had been stolen from a residence on Park Ave. in Chatham.

People passing by the scene say they saw three young Caucasian men outside the vehicle, heading toward Chatham on foot. One of the men was wearing a white jacket.

Provincial police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
