Anniversary At Cultural Centre

It's a big day for the Chatham Cultural Centre which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Marketing Coordinator Donna Nolan says all aspects of the centre will be on display at an open house this evening.

"They have the Eye For Art exhibition at the Thames Art Gallery, the Chatham-Kent Museum will be open with their WWI exhibit and the decoy exhibit, the Chatham Concert Band will be performing in the Kiwanis Theatre," she says. "There is loads of food from local businesses, there will be a cake cutting, loads of activities for the kids."

Admission is free and the facility stays open until 8:30 for the event.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
