Health Cuts Rally Today

The Chatham-Kent Health Coalition is taking part in a rally at Queen's Park today protesting the elimination of services at community hospitals.

The local coalition's Shirley Roebuck says groups from across the province will be taking part.

"We want to make sure that Ontarians value their community hospitals and they do not want any more services cut from community hospitals," she says. "The government is now forging ahead with their plans to regionalize health care."

She says a bus is leaving Wallaceburg for Sarnia before heading to Toronto for the noon hour rally.
