New OFA President

Lambton County's Don McCabe is the new president of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.

He won on a third ballot at the elections in Niagara Falls, 147-106 over incumbent Mark Wales.

Two other people were in the running, Keith Currie of Simcoe and Debra Pretty-Straathof.

McCable and Currie were vice-presidents last term while Pretty-Straathof was an executive member.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
