Crews Work To Clear Roads

Chatham-Kent crews are back clearing downed trees and traffic signs this morning following powerful winds in the region yesterday.

Director of Public Works Miguel Pelletier expects it to take them most of the day.

"We still have about 20 different locations where we have issues with trees down or road signs missing, stop signs that were knocked down," he says. "As far as the trees and signs, we should probably have everything taken care of by the end of today."

He says public works crews are also assisting Hydro One crews with road closures as needed, so power crews can restore electricity.
