High Water Levels On Sydenham

Water levels on the Sydenham River are rising after heavy rainfall and snow melting in the last 24 hours.

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority says water in the river and its tributaries will be fast moving and the banks will be slippery over the next few days.

Some upstream areas might also experience some localized flooding.

Municipal officials, road superintendents, and emergency response staff are being asked to monitor local conditions closely.
