With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, hundreds of families swarmed to see the CP Holiday Train roll into Windsor Tuesday evening decked out with a massive light display.

The annual event collects non-perishable food items for 15 food banks across Windsor-Essex.

Matt Boroski has made this a family tradition. "We have three kids now, we started with the oldest and come every year since," says Boroski. "We have the third kid at home, he's six months old so next year we'll continue it on. The kids love it, love seeing the lights, Santa and the band. It's a great time."

Santa and holiday entertainment also made the night more festive. The holiday train makes its next stop in Nipigon followed by Thunder Bay.
