Lakers Fall To Flyers

The Wallaceburg Lakers have now lost eight games in a row, following a 6-2 defeat by the Alvinston Flyers.

During the game Wednesday night, the Flyers kept the game even, matching a goal from Alvinston to tie the game 1-1 going into the second. However, by the end of the second, Alvinston was able to score three goals to take a substantial 4-1 lead. Wallaceburg scored one more goal in the third, but the Flyers left them in the dust, scoring two more of their own to take the win.

Matt Clark and Evan Weidenbach scored Wallaceburg's two goals.

The Lakers are back on the ice on Friday to take on the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7:05pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
