Stolen Vehicle Recovered Near Blenheim

Two Blenheim men are facing charges after police recovered a car that was stolen earlier this week.

Police say an officer saw a stolen Toyota Corolla on Mull Rd. just outside of Blenheim early this morning and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver sped away in an attempt to evade police.

Officers later found the vehicle on Cameron St. and located two men in the area a short time later.

A 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man are now charged with possession of property obtained by crime, failing to stop for police, and dangerous driving.
