Goldsmith Retiring

Changes are on the way to Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.

After 37 years working for the Chatham-Kent Police Service, Crime Stoppers Coordinator Doug Goldsmith is retiring.

"December the 18th is going to be my last day in the Crime Stoppers office," says Goldsmith. "It's been five years for me and I've enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to the folks out the municipality that do everything to keep our program going. Without their help it wouldn't be what it is today."

Dave Bakker, who previously was the Crime Stoppers coordinator, is taking over the position. For more information on the Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers, click here.
