Impaired Driver Arrested

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man after an impaired driving incident Friday.

Police say they observed a man struggling to enter his car in the area of King St. and Fourth St. Friday night. After seeing police he left the area.

Later police saw the car drive away, hitting a curb in the process.

Now a 47-year-old man faces an impaired driving charge. He's been released with a future court date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
