Leamington Family Feeling Safer

A family victimized by a home invasion in Leamington now has some peace of mind.

Heath Keane and his family are the winners of a security system from Security One after Keane's brother sent in a nomination following the June incident.

"I woke up, my wife was just screaming like you wouldn't believe. So I went down to the end of my hall and he had already confronted her and kind of took off," recalls Keane. "She said, 'there's a man in the house.' I'm up for ten seconds, right, so I went down to my landing, I'm looking around and some guy came out of my basement and he came at me with a knife and he just demanded to know where the door was. So I just said, 'right there,' and he ran to the door."

About 120 nominations were received for the home security system.
