Police Investigating Break Ins

Chatham-Kent police have one person in custody after interrupting a break-in and are searching for suspects in a second.

Police say they got a call about a man forcing his way into an apartment on Park St. last night about 9:30pm and discovered a suspect with bolt cutters and a flashlight still inside.

He has been charged with possession of burglary tools.

As well, police are looking for any information after someone broke into a variety store on Keil Dr. S around 3am yesterday and stole cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes.
