Motorist Hits Drive-Thru Sign

Chatham-Kent Police are investigating after a drive thru sign was hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon.

Police say around 2pm a dark coloured mini van hit a business sign at the Dairy Queen on St. Clair St in Chatham, causing $1000 in damages.

After inspecting the damage, witnesses say the occupants fled the scene.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
