Crash Damages Bridge

A section of Kimball Rd. in Wallaceburg remains closed after a crash over the weekend damaged a bridge.

A barrier is being installed between McCreary Line and Langstaff Line after a Volkswagen Golf crashed into a bridge railing, head-on, Saturday.

Four people were sent to hospital as a result, where they all remain while in recovery. The 56-year-old male driver was sent to Windsor hospital in critical condition. Two 12-year-olds also suffered critical injuries and were sent to hospital in London.

A 15-year-old was also sent to a Chatham-Kent hospital. The crash is still under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
