Dresden Close to Field Renovations

Fundraising to renovate the sports field at Lambton-Kent Composite School in Dresden is almost complete.

Ian Avery with the Dresden Community Development Association says they're well over 80% of their goal.

"We're kind of looking at doing the entire project at once beginning this coming summer, and obviously the end date will be dependant on fundraising," says Avery. "We're taking a little hiatus right now with the Christmas season, and then we'll pick back up. We have our first fundraiser on the 27th of February."

Avery adds that they're hoping to raise the rest of the funds this spring so they can begin construction in the summer.
