Appeal To Save House

A Shrewsbury man who lost a son in a drowning incident at Erieau earlier this year is now in danger of losing his house and his sister is appealing for help.

Kate Davies says her brother Jim Hall had been trying to work his way out of financial trouble but missed a lot of work after his son Sheldon drowned.

"He was going to get his third year caught up, but now it is beyond being caught up, now that it's in the third year they are looking at taking the house," she says. "He likes his job, he's doing forklift right now, but trying to catch up on everything has been hard on him."

She says as well as back taxes, the roof leaks and he needs a furnace. She is asking for help through the website GoFundMe. For a link to the web site, click here.
