Wallaceburg Falls To Lakeshore

The Wallaceburg Lakers lost their 17th straight, falling 3-1 to the Lakeshore Canadiens.

Aaron Moore led the Canadiens with a goal and an assist.

The Lakers couldn't take advantage of the power play, going 1-for-7 as Alex Ritchie scored the Lakers' lone goal in the third.

Wallaceburg is off until next Tuesday, Jan. 6 when they take on first place Essex. Lakeshore is back on the ice on Friday when they host Mooretown.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
