Angry Driver Pulls A Knife

A 29-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges after a road rage incident involving a hunting knife.

Chatham-Kent police say it started when a man driving eastbound on Queens Line cut off another vehicle yesterday afternoon, causing the driver to slam on his brakes to avoid a collision.

The driver then followed the vehicle that cut him off and allegedly forced it off the road on to the shoulder. When the two vehicles stopped at an intersection, the man who was originally cut off, got out his vehicle and allegedly threatened the other driver with a hunting knife.

The victim then followed the driver, who later braked hard, causing the two vehicles to collide. The victim then called police, who were able to locate the driver at his residence and arrest him.
