Smoking In Bed

Chatham-Kent fire officials say a resident who was smoking in bed accidentally started a house fire in Wallaceburg this morning.

Fire crews were called to a residence on Dell St. in Wallaceburg at about 5:40am Thursday.

No one was injured, but the damages are estimated at around $75,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
