Residents Want Stop Sign Removed

Leamington Council will revisit an old issue thanks to a pair of residents.

A couple weeks ago, staff recommended to council to remove the westbound stop sign at Bevel Line and Seacliff Dr. E.

Mayor John Paterson says this would free up traffic in the area. "It's more of a traffic flow issue in the east-west direction of Seacliffe Drive. But the majority of council felt that the stop sign should remain. That's how the vote went."

Bevel Line was also recently repaved and redesigned.
