Lakers Fall To Admirals

The Wallaceburg Lakers still can't seem to shake their losing streak, falling 7-4 to the Amherstburg Admirals.

During the game Wednesday night, the Lakers took a 4-1 advantage in the first period, but weren't able to score for the rest of the game. The Admirals scored three goals in the second and three in the third, earning them the victory.

This was the Lakers 19th loss in a row.

Cory Lucier, Jacob Theoret, Lucais Meyskens and Brock Daugherty all scored one goal for Wallaceburg.

The Lakers face off against the Wheatley Sharks next Wednesday at 7:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
