Admirals Hold Off Comeback

The first place Essex 73's made a comeback in the third but it wasn't enough as Amherstburg got away with a 4-3 win in junior C hockey action.

Admiral's goalie Arren Romeril made 48 saves in the win Sunday night.

Elsewhere, Alvinston had the only goal of the night in a 1-0 win over the Blenheim Blades.

Brett Avery made 23 saves for the Flyers to record the shutout.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
