Police Investigate Chatham Break-In

Chatham-Kent police are trying to determine who stole about $8,000 worth of cash and items from a Delaware Ave. home.

Police say the break-in happened Thursday night sometime between 6pm and 9pm.

The homeowner reported that cash, jewelry and electronics valued at about $8,000 were taken.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
