The Chatham-Kent fire department says around 4:23pm on Friday, two fire stations responded to the blaze at 6833 8th Line. The garage fire also caused damage to a house and there was a car inside the garage at the time of the blaze.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is unknown at this time and will be difficult to determine due to the extensive damage.

The stolen property was returned to the victim.
