Man Injured In Snowmobile, ATV Crash

A Lakeshore man has been charged after a crash between a snowmobile and an ATV sent another man to hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Saturday around 11pm, three snowmobiles passed two ATVs on Lake St. Clair west of Surf Club Dr. All but two of the vehicles passed each other safely, with one ATV and one snowmobile colliding head-on.

The driver of the snowmobile, a 28-year-old Lakeshore man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the ATV, a 21-year-old man from Lakeshore, was not injured and has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. A passenger on the ATV was also not injured in the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
